At DiveVault, we are a team of seasoned dive professionals from a diverse background of engineering, banking, marketing, all bonded by the love of exploring the oceans for the past 20 years.
We have over 10 years of experience in dive equipment retail, underwater photography, and dive travel spanning over South East Asia. So we’d like to think that we know a thing or two about scuba diving. 😉
how we got started?
Coffee
It was honestly an "aha" moment over coffee when we realised how our friends (and us) are always grimacing on the thought of washing and drying our scuba equipment after every dive trip. Not to mention finding a space in our homes to keep the gears... and nagging from the beloved other half 😘
Reality hits
Also the fact that the majority of recreational divers not knowing how to properly wash their equipment. Let's just say that vinegar, washing liquid, and warm water, and chucking your dive gear in your closet isn't really good practice. And we've not even covered dive equipment servicing intervals.
AHa!
Although this "aha" moment took us a few years to realise... 😅 We decided to combine our brain cells to providing our divers a solution to their dive gear problems - top notch equipment aftercare services while extending the lifespan of the gears, ensuring our diver's safety, giving them more space at home... and then some.
